Raise funds for your charity or school by with Open Source Software.

The basis of this Project is to assist in putting together the software equivalent of fundraiser chocolates, cookies or pens: something with which your charity (or school or sporting club or girl scouts or any non-profit orgcanisation) can offer to people and companies who offer donations in return. In short, this produces a kit of documents and artwork which makes it easy for your charity to find a new source of fundraising revenue through through open source software.

The software for this Kit is made available in what is known as a CD-ROM (or ISO) image. There are two options for the software for this Kit. One is available from the The OpenC Disc website here: http://www.theopendisc.com/.

You, or an associated group (computer club, Linux User Group) with a fast (cable modem, ADSL, or broadband) Internet connection, will need to download this disk image or software archive, and then using CD-ROM creation (or burning) software, copy this image to a CD-R disk. As all the software on TheOpenCD or GNUWin is open source, this activity is not only totally legitimate but also strongly encouraged.
